In a rapidly expanding city such as Saskatoon, the issue of historical preservation often comes up. Whether it's what to do about that building, bridge or green space, as our city grows, it risks losing important pieces of its heritage.

Recently, the city hired two heritage consultants to survey the city and develop a plan for how to deal with our historical landmarks and structures.

On Thursday, March 8th, these experts will present their findings during two public open houses, taking place at 6pm and 7pm at 3rd Avenue United Church (304 3rd Ave N). Those interested in the future of our historical buildings and identity are encouraged to attend.
