CFCR INVADES THE SLED ISLAND FESTIVAL!

CFCR Sled Planet S Ad 1 SIZED.jpgCFCR 90.5FM is set to invade the Sled Island Festival on Friday, June 24th in Calgary! After attending the festival since inception, the staff of CFCR felt that it was time the good folks attending Sled Island had a taste of the excellent music going down in Saskatoon. We’ve assembled some of our favorite Saskatoon bands, and co-conspired with the fabulous Tubby Dog Hot Dog Emporium (1022 17 Ave SW, Calgary, AB) to bring you a Friday afternoon of rock, roll and hot dogs!

Festivities begin at 3pm! Here's the schedule!

3pm - 3:30pm - Friends Electric – Just like laying in a field with the one you love in the middle of the night, and not wanting to be anywhere else ever.

3:40pm - 4:10pm - Foggy Notions – Bringing you back to the time when you successfully voted The Stone Roses for President. In your world, anyways…

4:25pm - 4:55pm - Shooting Guns  - Riffs, massive jams, and most important, renewed faith in rock n’ roll. Music so thick you have to spoon it up.

5:10pm - 5:40pm - Feral Children – Fresh off of their Wyrd Fest III performance, these kids are like living in a daydream within a daydream during a thunderstorm.

Admission is absolutely FREE, and everyone is welcome! Remember - the showcase is happening early, so you can still check out all the other great acts later that night!

And to ice that cake, if you want to get a pair of full festival wristbands, you can enter our Sled Island draw right here.

Tubby Dog will have their wide array of amazing Hot Dogs for sale, as well as Beer for all you bangers out there at Happy Hour prices!

We are hoping to see lots of new faces, plenty of SK expats, and Hot Dog lovers unite!

Check out the CFCR Sled Island SK Sampler, featuring FREE downloads from all four bands!
