Congrats to our big Sled Island Festival wristband winners! Skot Hamilton and Franny Rawlyk - pack your pintos! You and a friend are off to Calgary's premier indie music and arts festival, with over 200 bands playing at a variety of venues in central Calgary.

Such acts as Kurt Vile, Dead Meadow, The Dandy Warhols, Of Montreal, Blonde Redhead, Sleep, C'mon, Alejandro Escovedo, Quest for Fire and so many more are confirmed to play the festival. Check HERE for the complete schedule!

The great news doesn't end there! CFCR has assembled some of our favorite local bands, and co-conspired with the fabulous Tubby Dog Hot Dog Emporium (1022 17 Ave SW, Calgary, AB) to bring you an afternoon of rock, roll and hot dogs! The very first Saskatoon showcase at Sled Island! Free Admission! Shooting Guns, Foggy Notions, Feral Children and Friends Electric will all be playing, so come on down Friday, June 24th starting at 3pm! Happy hour beer and amazing gourmet hot dogs are on the menu!
