SUMMER FESTIVAL TICKET GIVEAWAYS

Jun 23, 2010

It's like a liquidation sale here at CFCR, except we're not going out of business, and we're not selling, we're giving. We just can't get enough of this ticket giveaway thing, so we are offering passes to some great summer festivals, including The Calgary Folk Music Festival, The Calgary International Blues Festival and The Ness Creek Music Festival.

The Calgary Folk Music Festival

The Calgary Folk Music Festival takes place from July 22nd to 25th in Calgary's Prince's Island Park. This year's main stage features performances by The Swell Season, Ian Tyson, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Stars, Corb Lund and many more. There are also workshop stages, an interactive family area and a craft market. To enter your name into a draw for a pair of festival passes, just email us at contests@cfcr.ca with the subject CALGARY FOLK FEST.

The Calgary International Blues Festival

The Calgary International Blues Festival runs from August 5-8 in Calgary's Shaw Millenium Park. Artists at this year's festival include Little Feat, David Clayton Thomas with an 11-piece band, Chicago Blues Reunion, Coco Montoya and The Holmes Brothers. To get your name in the draw for a pair of festival passes, send an email to contests@cfcr.ca with the subject CALGARY BLUES FEST.

The Ness Creek Music Festival

CFCR is excited to be a supporter and partner with The Ness Creek Music Festival, which runs July 15-18 in the northern Saskatchewan Boreal Forest. It's shaping up to be a record-breaking year at Ness Creek, with great artists like The Breakmen, The Deep Dark Woods, Sunparlour Players and The Sadies. Be sure to check out CFCR's Friday night lineup, as well as the many other great features of the festival. Send us an email at contests@cfcr.ca with the subject NESS CREEK to have your name entered to win a pair of tickets to the festival.

As always, you have to be a CFCR member to enter in these draws. If you aren't a member already, it's probably a good idea to become one right now. We're always giving tickets away. Be sure to include your name, phone number and email address in your entry.

Stay tuned to cfcr.ca for more giveaways to come.
