WIN TICKETS TO SEE BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB FILM!

Jan 21, 2011

Six Degrees of Jazz is a new film series presented by the Saskatchewan Jazz Festival designed to draw the links between jazz and other styles of music.

The films selected as part of the five month series may tell the story of a musician, band or musical era — or they may simply be known for a remarkable soundtrack. Before each film, a guest speaker will discuss how the music in the film relates to the history and creativity of jazz music.

This partnership with the Broadway Theatre will create a community forum encouraging music and film lovers alike to enhance their musical education and think about jazz in a whole new light.

Tickets are $8 or $5 for members of the theatre.
