During our 2010 "Living Stereo" FM-Phasis funding drive, Wednesday Afternoon Buzz host Alison Whelan had the great idea to have local musicians write songs especially for donors to her program. And so was born "FM-Era." The unveiling of these songs will take place at Caffe Sola on Sunday, November 7th.
Big congratulations go out to the winners of the door prize draws at our Craftacular last weekend! The door prizes included a Yoga Downtown 5-class pass, a bouquet of flowers from Flowers by Fred and a photo shoot package from Relish Photography.
The whirlwind that was FM-Phasis almost seems like a distant memory now, as we look towards future fundraisers and next year's funding drive. However, one big piece of unfinished business remained until the end of October: the drawing for our great Grand Prizes.
If you attended the first ever CFCR Community Radio Craftacular, you would have seen some great, local, handmade crafts. You may also have tried some delicious perogies from Baba's, entered your name in a door prize and purchased a 50/50 ticket.

With the FM-Phasis funding drive fire cooling down, it's time to announce the lucky winners of the Early Bird draw, which was made on Wednesday, October 6th. All donors who paid their pledges of $25 or more were entered in a draw to win either an original painting by local artist Paul Pybus or a Swiss Army luggage set from The Awl Shoppe.
Well folks, it's official... CFCR volunteer host Crystal Clarke (Wednesday Green Eggs & Ham, 6-8am) has reached her goal of $2000 pledged to her program during FM-Phasis. In fact, Crystal had over $2800 pledged towards her show, which is one of the highest individual program totals this year.
We're in the home stretch here at CFCR and we need your help to make the last day of FM-Phasis the biggest day EVER! We've had some amazing donations come in and some equally amazing prizes given away. There's still time to get your donation in to help us reach our goal of $60,000. We're working hard, but we still need your support to get there.

CFCR is excited to bring you Portland, Oregon's Blitzen Trapper as part of FM-Phasis Fest 2010. They'll take the stage at Amigos Cantina on Saturday, September 25. They're touring in support of the their fifth full-length album Destroyer of the Void.
We're brewing a very exciting FM-Phasis funding drive this fall, from September 18-October 1. A big part of the funding drive is FM-Phasis Fest, which includes some really exciting touring bands as well as great local acts.
