This past October, a group of Saskatoon performance poets joined 17 other teams in Ottawa, ON to participate in the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word. Among them was CFCR's very own Charles Hamilton, co-host of Tonight It's Poetry Radio (Thursdays, 6:30-7pm). Hamilton was selected to perform his piece, entitled "Saskatoon, a Love Letter," to the largest audience of the festival.

Part critique, part serenade, the poem is sure to ring true to all those who have loved and left (and then returned to) their hometown.
