Material Mashups: Harnessing the Chaos of Creativity
This exhibition by Michelle Isbister McGilp features selected works from an ongoing project/collection that explores the dynamic tension between structure and freedom. Using self-imposed rules, the artist randomly selects materials, tools and techniques for each artwork, allowing unexpected results to emerge.
This exhibition will be on display at Frances Morrison Central Library from Jan 14 – Feb 11, 2026, with the reception to take place on Thursday, Jan 15 from 6:30 to 8 pm.
