Lyell Gustin Recital Series proudly presents… Cameron Crozman, cello, and Meagan Milatz, piano
The Lyell Gustin Series celebrating “Strings Spectacular” comes to a finale with cellist Cameron Crozman and pianist Meagan Milatz, prairie-born stars of the new generation!
From national and world stages, the brilliant duo returns by audience acclaim to perform dramatic works by Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, and Gershwin, along with Spanish music.
Crozman, solo cellist, chamber musician and recording artist, appears across Canada, in the USA and Europe. A laureate of Gautier Capuçon’s Classe d’Excellence at the Louis Vuitton Foundation, Paris, and winner of the 2021 Canada Council for the Arts Virginia Parker Prize, he was CBC/Radio-Canada’s 2019 Classical Revelation artist.
He will perform with the wonderfully versatile and sought-after collaborative pianist, Meagan Milatz. The duo is highly praised as an ideal artistic ensemble!
Milatz–originally from Saskatchewan, and now, like Crozman, based in Montreal–regularly performs with top artists in prestigious venues. Winner of the coveted 2024 Prix Opus “Discovery of the Year,” she is “a remarkable pianist with a seemingly limitless palette of expression!” (Le Devoir).
