Set in a magical Ukrainian forest, Mavka, a forest spirit and guardian of nature, protects the ancient woods from human threat.
She falls in love with Lukash, a young musician from a nearby village, bridging the human and spirit worlds. Their bond is tested when human greed endangers the forest.
Torn between duty and love, Mavka must make a difficult choice, in a story about love, sacrifice, and the balance between humanity and nature.
