SK Environment Society – Sustainability Speakers

HOW SHOULD SASKATCHEWAN RESPOND TO THREE GLOBAL THREATS WE FACE: THE CLIMATE EMERGENCY, THE ESCALATION OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS, AND THE LOSS OF BIODIVERSITY IN THE WORLD

Peter Prebble will discuss what Saskatchewan can do to address the climate crisis, the dangers from nuclear weapons, and the loss of species and habitat. He has been involved in a wide variety of provincial initiatives related to wind power, energy conservation, and protected areas. Peter served as a Member of the Legislature in Saskatchewan for 16 years and serves on the Board of Directors of the Saskatchewan Environmental Society.

The Sustainability Speakers Series is hosted by Saskatchewan Environmental Society (SES) volunteers in partnership with the Saskatoon Public Library (SPL). These are FREE, in-person events.
