The Word on the Street Saskatoon: Free one-day festival celebrating Canadian writing and literacy
On Saturday, November 15, 2025, The Word on the Street Saskatoon (WOTS) invites readers, families, educators, and writers to a full day of literary event at The Refinery, Saskatoon (609 Dufferin Ave). Running from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., this free festival celebrates the written word, Canadian authorship, and the power of reading and literacy.
Featuring more than a dozen authors on site, attendees will have the opportunity to join readings, panel discussions, browse a marketplace featuring local bookseller Turning the Tide, and engage with writing in its many forms.
