CFCR'S 10TH ANNUAL ART AUCTION! SUCCESS!

Nov 23, 2012

CFCR's 10th annual art auction, Artists for Alternative Radio, was an incredible success! The event was held at Riverside Golf and Country Club on Saturday, November 17th, 2012. Both live and silent auctions were held, raking in a whopping $24,025. Of that, CFCR Community Radio receives $11,474!

We can't thank all the artists, attendees, and volunteers that made this such a huge night for CFCR and the artists. The event sold out in record time, and the people at Riverside were amazing as always.

In addition to helping with our fundraising, the art auction complements a wider initiative at CFCR to develop a closer relationship with Saskatoon artists. As an alternative station with specific programs dedicated to arts and culture events and issues, we aim to provide artists with a unique opportunity to increase their profile in the local community.

Hope to see you next year!!!
