During our 2010 "Living Stereo" FM-Phasis funding drive, Wednesday Afternoon Buzz host Alison Whelan had the great idea to have local musicians write songs especially for donors to her program. And so was born "FM-Era."
Alison gathered up a gaggle of guys and gals to write songs for anyone who donated $50 or more to her show. Each songwriter was to write a song on a subject chosen by the donor, whether it was a song about their hometown, a song for their mom on mother's day, or just a song about how great they are at whiffle ball.
The culmination of this project will take place on Sunday, November 7th at 3pm at Caffe Sola. Cover charge is only $3 (free for the recipients of a song) and there will be all of Caffe Sola's delicious fare available, so don't miss it!
