Lots of exciting news coming from The Deep Dark Woods camp! The band is slated to announce the release of their new album in the coming weeks! This will be their fourth full-length album, and first with key/organ wizard Geoff Hilhorst! Stay tuned to 90.5FM and right here at cfcr.ca for the full details, and perhaps a few words from the band!

Besides plotting and planning the album, the Woods will be showcasing new and old ditties, sharing the stage with The Sadies at the Broadway Theatre on June 22nd. They will be appearing at the later 9pm show, so make sure to grab your tickets before it's too late! The band will also appear at a number of prestigious Summer Festivals, including the Edmonton Folk Festival (Edmonton, AB), Folk On the Rocks (Yellowknife, NT), Trout Forest Music Festival (Ear Falls, ON), Harvest Sun Music Festival (Kelwood, MB) and the 1st Annual Wood Mountain Folk Festival (Wood Mountain, SK).
