CFCR GETS A NEW BROADCAST CONSOLE!

Nov 23, 2021

Thanks to your support of the FM-Phasis funding drive, we are very excited to report that we have just installed a brand new broadcast console!

Since the DJ 3000 console was on indefinite backorder, we chose the Arrakis "ARC-15" - a 15 channel analog unit that will greatly improve the listening and hosting experience for MANY years to come. Our last console served us for over 20 great years and will now enjoy a long-overdue retirement on a beach.

We cannot thank you enough for helping us strengthen our humble non-profit Community Radio Station. We are very fortunate to have such supportive people on our side - we do not take it for granted!

CFCR acknowledges that we broadcast from Treaty 6 Territory, the homeland of the Cree and Métis Nations, and the traditional territories of the Dene, Saulteaux, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakota. We pay our gratitude to the First Nations and Métis people who have called this ancestral land home for generations, and whose histories, languages, and cultures continue to influence our community. On a foundation of reconciliation, recognition, and respect, CFCR is committed to reaffirming relationships with one another, and to establishing new ones.
