CFCR Community Radio Cultural Showcase 2022

Jan 17, 2022

CFCR Saskatoon Community Radio is very proud to present the second annual Cultural Showcase - an online music performance event! We met up (safely) with some superb local acts at the Capitol Music Club to present an array of sights and sounds sure to please!

With performances from éemi (French-Canadian), Pam Magallanes (Philippines), Joy Sareen (India), Oral Fuentes (Belize), and Jack Walton (Acadian), we invite you to kick back and enjoy from the comfort of your home!

The video is available to stream by clicking HERE. The showcase is free to watch, but donations are always welcome at cfcr.ca/donate to ensure we can continue to bring special community-based events like these in the future.

This presentation was made possible with the support of the Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan

Special thanks to the Capitol Music Club for providing a safe environment for this event to take place, and to The Get Up SK for their fantastic Video and Audio production.

CFCR acknowledges that we broadcast from Treaty 6 Territory, the homeland of the Cree and Métis Nations, and the traditional territories of the Dene, Saulteaux, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakota. We pay our gratitude to the First Nations and Métis people who have called this ancestral land home for generations, and whose histories, languages, and cultures continue to influence our community. On a foundation of reconciliation, recognition, and respect, CFCR is committed to reaffirming relationships with one another, and to establishing new ones.
