FM-PHASIS 2023 PRIZE WINNERS & MORE

FM-Phasis 2023 was an overwhelming success! With the gracious support of the Community (and beyond), we have exceeded our fundraising goal with $76,782.18 pledged. Simply incredible!

We are SO thankful for everyone who supported us during our annual fundraising drive. Whether it be via a donation or if you helped spread the word, it does NOT go unnoticed. 

We would also like to take a moment to thank all of the local businesses that donated prizes to help sweeten the deal for some lucky FM-Phasis donors, Gabrielle Giroux for the amazing "Radio Re-Wired" graphic design, and CFCR volunteer hosts for keeping the station alive and on-air throughout the year. 

We will continue to work hard to bring you top-quality, volunteer-powered radio here in Saskatoon. Thank you - times a zillion!

CFCR is proud to present the FM-Phasis fundraising drive for 2023 - "Radio Re-Wired" taking place from Saturday, September 16th to Friday, September 29th, 2023. This year marks our 32nd year of volunteer broadcasting at 90.5FM in Saskatoon! 

FM-Phasis is essential to CFCR’s existence and accounts for 15-20% of our annual operating budget. We are hopeful with the support of the Community that we can reach a goal of $75,000 this year.

The funds raised during past FM-Phasis campaigns have been directed towards continued improvements and upgrades for the station, including New Studio Equipment (we purchased a new Board for our On-Air Studio in 2021!), Remote Recording Equipment (ie: USB Microphones, etc), Production Studio Upgrades, Transmitter Upgrades, Security System, Webcasting and the CFCR Mobile App. 

One of the current projects we are working hard on is developing an on-demand Public Archive of our content, and upgrading our Computer/Server System to better Archiving and Digitization capabilities for the future.
 
The funds raised from the “Radio Re-Wired” FM-Phasis campaign will go towards:
 
- Developing an On-Demand Public Archive of our content
- Working towards moving the station to a more accessible space
- Upgrading our Computer/Server System 
- New Production Studio Equipment 
- New On-Air Studio Equipment 
- And so much more

Each FM-Phasis donation level corresponds with a chance to pick up some sweet CFCR swag, as well as many chances to win local sponsor gift card prize packs! 

$25 – You’ll be entered into Grand Prize Draw #1, and entered to win a gift card/prize pack valued up to half your donation.

$75 – You will receive a Limited-edition CFCR “Radio Re-Wired” FM-Phasis T-Shirt or the "Block Flag" design! You'll also be entered into Grand Prize Draw #1 and 2 and entered to win a gift card/prize pack valued up to half your donation.

"Radio Re-Wired" Adult and Fitted cut ATC "Eurospun" Brand T-Shirts are Black in colour with 100% Combed and Spun Cotton. Small to XL Adult sizes available + M to XL Fitted sizes available . $250 – You will receive a Limited-edition CFCR “Radio Re-Wired” FM-Phasis or "Block Flag" T-Shirt! You’ll also be entered into ALL FOUR Grand Prize Draws and entered to win a gift card/prize pack valued up to half your donation.

Any donation of $25 or more qualifies to receive a TAX RECEIPT if donors choose to not be entered into our prize pack draws. All donors will still receive the CFCR merch swag if you make the qualifying donation. Tax receipts will be sent via e-mail. If you do not have an email address, we can send out a paper copy in the mail upon request!

There are many EASY options to make and pay an FM-Phasis donation!

  1. You can pay online with a credit card (Visa or Mastercard) at www.cfcr.ca/donate. We use PayPal to process the transaction, but a PayPal account is NOT required to do so.
  2. E-transfers can be sent to cfcr@cfcr.ca. We are set up for easy auto-deposit donations. Please include as much information as possible in the notes section of the e-transfer so we know who the donation is from and what CFCR show/host it is for.  
  3. You can call (306) 664-6678 from 10am ‘til 6pm Monday to Friday.
  4. Cheques can be made out to CFCR Community Radio and mailed to P.O. Box 7544 Saskatoon SK S7K 4L4. Please include who the donation is from and what CFCR show/host it is for.
  5. Monthly donation - Donors can pledge a larger amount ($10/month ($120 Minimum) and pay per month. (a void cheque or bank draft is required).
