WIN: SLED ISLAND 2019 FESTIVAL PASSES

Apr 13, 2019

We're giving CFCR members a chance to win a way into the 13th Annual Sled Island Festival, taking place in Calgary, AB from June 19th - 23rd, 2019. This year features 250 bands across 30+ venues. And don’t forget the ever popular film, art, and comedy side of things. This all lines up to be another amazing year for the festival, so you gotta go!

This year's headlining bands include: Julien Baker, Oblivians, Cass McCombs, Rapsody, and many more!
We’ve whipped up a trusty contest checklist:
1. You must be a current 2019/20 CFCR Member. If you need to renew or sign up for yours, please visit this page.
2. You must be able to actually attend this year’s festival and meet the CFCR crew to pick the passes up in person! You’d be surprised how many people enter our contests who can’t actually go, so we want these to go to people who will appreciate them!
3. Have a loved one, a friend, or a stranger to go to experience this great festival with you.

If all looks good on that list, you should email us your Name, Phone Number, and Membership Number with the subject "SLED ISLAND" to contests@cfcr.ca. Two winners will be selected (two (2) Sled Island Discovery passes per winner, worth over $400) from an oversized novelty nacho hat on the morning of Friday, May 17th. The winner will be announced on Show Corner on the RCMP at 4:30pm that same day!

*Please note - winners will be responsible for their own transportation & accommodations at the festival*

Also, be sure to stay tuned to CFCR for the announcement of our 9th Annual Saskatoon Showcase at the festival. Four of the finest Saskatoon bands playing one of Calgary’s finest venues!
