COME CELEBRATE COMMUNITY RADIO DAY THIS FRIDAY!

Friday November 4th, 2011 has officially been declared Community Radio Day in Saskatoon! The day marks the 25th anniversary of the incorporation of the Community Radio Society of Saskatoon.....and CFCR Community Radio has a day of fun and events to commemorate the occasion!
 

Join us at 267 3rd Avenue South (3rd Floor) for an Open House! There will be coffee, and muffins supplied by Earth Bound Bakery. Stop by for Pizza Friday in the afternoon!

And guess what....Mayor Don Atchison will be here for a special interview at 8am!

Community Radio alumni will be popping by to reminisce throughout the day. Ron Spizziri will host a feature on music from 1986, and there will be special live performances by Jay Semko as well as Johnny Sinclair & Leslie Stanwyck, formerly of the Pursuit of Happiness.

Join us in person or park yourself by the radio all day: Friday November 4th – Community Radio Day – it’s gonna be awesome.
