Friday November 4th, 2011 has officially been declared Community Radio Day in Saskatoon! The day marks the 25th anniversary of the incorporation of the Community Radio Society of Saskatoon.....and CFCR Community Radio has a day of fun and events to commemorate the occasion!

CFCR 90.5FM is set to invade the Sled Island Festival on Friday, June 24th in Calgary! We felt that it was time the good folks attending Sled Island had a taste of the excellent music going down in Saskatoon. We’ve assembled some of our favorite local bands to bring you a Friday afternoon of rock, roll and hot dogs at Tubby Dog in Calgary!

Pirate Radio host Brian "The Captain" Penner has hung up his eye patch, stepping away from his hosting duties at CFCR. But don't fret, Faster, Leonard Cohen, Die! Die! host The Jay of Spades has given up his program so that he can keep the Pirate Radio ship sailing forward.
